message in a bottle...

"True love is rare, and it's the only thing that gives life real meaning." well that's what this story is all about...I don't feel embarrassed to admit that it kept me weeping for at least an hour and almost made it impossible to read the end...which unfortunately wasn't a happy one. This one is a tragic story..you will never see it coming until you read it all. From the very beginning, it keeps you intrigued and the entire experience is worth cherishing. I simply loved it and whosoever is in for a romantic treat, must grab this book.

Though, it could have easily had a happy ending but Nicholas Sparks has his way with things. He tried the other way round which was really...really sad to read but then that is the reason why this books leaves a deep impact on the readers. It had many hidden morals and meanings too...but I guess one needs the strong heart and those strong intense feelings to actually realize the true value of it.

The letters in there, are the best part of the entire novel and especially the one Garret wrote for Theresa. Shimmering with suspense and emotional intensity, the book is all about rediscovery of love. It's a story of a man Garret and the woman Theresa....where Garret is fighting with his emotional demons for past 3 years. He seems to be hopelessly in love with his dead wife, Catherine.

And then comes a point when he loses all his hopes for love. But one fine day, it comes looking for him... knocking at his door. Theresa it is. She comes looking for him after she finds 3 of his letters. She read them and discovers the raw emotions in it and decides how achingly moving they are to anyone who would read them...then their love story trails off in full bloom but soon enough, Theresa is all alone...the book is full of emotions, it has love, it has passion, it has tragedies and it has those unsaid words that only people in Love can understand.

You should go for it if you are in for a good cry...and the story as obvious is wonderful in its own way...and i am sure you'll fall in love with Garret(unless u watch d movie) as soon as you read the novel.

"I have come to realize that destiny can hurt a person as much as it can bless them, and I find myself wondering why--out of all the people in all the world I could ever have loved--I had to fall in love with someone who was taken away from me."-Garret
